Rain and Rivers ( 2023 - Present )
Rain and Rivers is a collection of wearable sculptures representing the fluidity of water and the rawness of stone.
Rain and Rivers has been featured in magazines such as The New York Times, Vogue Spain, Elle Magazine, Metal Magazine, within others.
Rain and Rivers emerges from my ongoing practice exploring ecology and technology amidst the current climate crisis. An investigation that initiated in 2018 from the ways in which plants communicate. This led me to explore glass as a medium in which to create vessels for the plants I was collaborating with. Rain and Rivers is an extension of this investigation, from which I approach jewelry as wearable sculptures, within other formats. Each piece is hand-sculpted at the flame in my hotshop in BarcelonaI like to think that those who collect my jewels have an interest in supporting the ways in which my practice as an artist moves.
